The problem
Learning platforms carry heavy reporting workloads. A key CSV report took 60 minutes to generate, and aging frontend code slowed feature work.
The approach
Built Rails REST APIs with background processing, restructured the database schema with strategic indexing to speed up reporting, built a custom npm state-management library, and executed a Vue-to-React migration.
